- Examines the role and tools of the cultural entrepreneur and investigates practical and tactical approaches centered around real-world examples.
- Topics include how cultural entrepreneurs turn new ideas into concrete initiatives and how they communicate with and learn from their audiences and communities to assess and evaluate the implementation of cultural endeavors.
- Offers students an opportunity to create their own cultural initiative from the ground up.
- Through modules covering mission and vision, program evaluation, community engagement, and basic resource management, the successful student should finish the course with a real project “in a box,” ready to launch.
