- Offers students an opportunity to obtain a broad familiarity with bioanalytical chemistry at the undergraduate level.
- After reviewing basic principles of analytical chemistry, the course covers biomolecular analysis by modern methods, including chromatography, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, and immunohistochemistry.
- Studies genomics, proteomics, biosensors, bioassays, and protein/DNA sequencing.
- Exposes students to technical literature and modern applications in biochemistry, molecular biology, and chemistry.
