- Seeks to provide a strong foundation in the fundamentals of virtual and augmented reality, broadly defined as mixed reality (XR), and hands-on experience developing XR applications.
- Offers students an opportunity to dive into this burgeoning area of research and practice in computer science.
- Given the complex nature of XR environments, this course synthesizes theoretical and practice knowledge from various disciplines, including computer graphics, 3D interfaces, human-computer interaction, tracking systems, and perceptual psychology (to name a few).
