- Provides case reviews and discussion related to basic theories, principles and contemporary issues of bioethics.
- Secondarily, this course is an interprofessional course that covers specific ethical guidelines for various health disciplines from nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, and others.
- Offers students an opportunity to develop systematic strategies and analytic frameworks for identifying and examining bioethical issues and for resolving bioethical dilemmas and problems.
- Students have an opportunity to apply their specific discipline's ethics code and work in multidisciplinary groups to apply ethical principles from different perspectives.
