- Explores foundational considerations in research methodology and acquisition of knowledge in statistical techniques, ranging from descriptive statistics to probability and inference.
- Offers students an opportunity to state and test hypotheses guiding them through the analysis and interpretation of collected information and to build experience with conducting statistical analysis using common spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
