- Applies principles of pathophysiology, therapeutics, and communication to the pharmacy-care management of individual patients.
- In collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, and under the supervision of a clinical preceptor, offers identification of appropriate drug therapy and monitoring requirements for common pathophysiologic processes, and, when indicated, modification of population-based treatment strategies based on the unique characteristics of individual patients.
