- Covers technologies that have relevance to rehabilitation of individuals with disorders of movement.
- Topics include measurement of human movement, electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electromyography (EMG), virtual reality and gaming, robotics, neuroprosthetics, noninvasive brain stimulation, and peripheral stimulation.
- Exposes students to a historical perspective on how the technology evolved, applications of the technology, an overview of how the technology works, existing variants, strengths, limitations/gaps, and future directions.
